Terms & Conditions

1. Who we are

Pulpit AI is operated by The Preach Pad ("we", "us", "our"), the seller and legal business responsible for the Service. By using Pulpit AI (the "Service"), you ("you", "the user") are entering into a binding agreement with The Preach Pad.

2. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, accessing, or continuing to use the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction, or have authority to bind the organization on whose behalf you use the Service.

3. The Service

Pulpit AI is a generative-AI tool that helps preachers and ministry teams draft sermons, prayers, and related content based on user-provided inputs (scripture, topic, audience, etc.). Outputs are produced by AI and are intended as a starting point for the user's own preaching, study, and editing.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it up to date.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

  • use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose;
  • send spam, malware, or otherwise interfere with the Service's security or integrity;
  • probe, scrape, or attempt to access data you are not authorized to access;
  • infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person;
  • use the Service to create hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, defamatory, or otherwise harmful content; to impersonate real individuals (including deepfakes); to produce malware; or to bypass safety filters ("jailbreaking").

6. AI-generated content

You are responsible for your prompts, for how you use any output, and for verifying that outputs are accurate, biblical, and appropriate before relying on, sharing, or preaching them. You must have the rights to any content you submit as input. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a given audience, and the Service is not a substitute for your own pastoral judgment, theological training, or qualified professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise).

We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter outputs, and suspend accounts that violate these Terms. If you believe a generated output infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and act on legitimate takedown requests; repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, prompts, and underlying models, is owned by The Preach Pad or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with your selected plan. As between you and us, you retain ownership of the inputs you submit and, subject to these Terms and applicable AI provider terms, of the outputs generated for you. You grant us a limited license to host and process your content solely to provide and improve the Service.

8. Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, applicable taxes, cancellations, and refunds are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms and Refund Policy, in addition to our own Refund Policy.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until canceled. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated charges; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, after which access drops to the Free plan.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete your data after a reasonable retention period as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Service level and disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or ministry opportunities. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (such as for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence).

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold The Preach Pad harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Preach Pad is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law in your country provides otherwise.

15. Contact
